Just watch a bit of a new online game.  Why is it that all online games always have character running around?  If any real person run around that much, they will probably die young from over exercising.

Over the Xmas period, I got a number of invitation for different group of friends to meet up.  The natural thing to do is to catch up with friends whom I havent been talking to on a regular basis.  But then, isn’t it a bit strange to give priority to these supposedly friends who are never around when I really need them?  Hmm..

We decided that we should buy noodlez a t-shirt to get her used to us dolling her up. Here’s her first t-shirt.

Being politically correct is getting out of hand.  However, a recent experience left me pondering the question if we are getting sensitive over nothing, or rather something that should be nothing.  In this Xmas season, a muslim friend came up to me and greeted me ‘Merry Christmas’.  Does he even know what it means in its significance?  Or has Christmas been so commercialized that we simply forgotten its meaning.

In any case, the world will be a better place if we have more of such respect for various religious observations.

The movie reminds me too much of another movie that is produced in the 70s.

After a bit of checking, ‘I am Legend’ is indeed a remake. Surprisingly, I watched ‘The Omega Man’ when I was in primary school. Will Smith is good, especially in portraying how a person can go coo coo after being alone for too long.

Generally, the show doesn’t live up to the hype. Here’s one good song featured in the movie. ‘Stir it up‘ by Bob Marley.

Went to another party for xmas. Sad. It was supposed to be potluck. And nobody eat. Only the host’s parents cooked something decent. Or maybe its the maid. One guest brought Mcnuggets.

No greeting from the host either. Its more like a mahjong session with gift exchange.

Poor noodles got traumatized  by the spoilt brats.

Enough said. Not going there anymore.

The celebration has never a dull moment as soon as it got started.  The hosts were wonderful, warm and hospitable.

I am a sucker for Jap Drama. I just am. I absolutely fascinated by them. K Drama..well, I dun like most of those family family type of stories.

Some people may even be surprised that I am actually following the drama series by Sorimachi Takashi and Kimura Takuya, rather than jap girls like Matsu Takako or Kyoko Fukuda.

Well, the bad thing is the local media is buying more K Drama these days, probably due to lower cost. Sigh…

Xmas is around the corner again.  This is a period when a lot of people are more giving and receiving.  A lot of the meaning of Xmas is lost and it is mainly represented by the glimmering lights and material things.

I am not against exchanging of gifts and buying someone a present.  What I am against is the expectation that Xmas is a day for receiving expensive present.

It is more important to appreciate the people around us.

Here’s a little something that happened the other day after a car cut into my lane without warning:

Friend:  Just let him go.  This is a period of giving and sharing.

Me:  Ya..I am giving him a hard time and sharing my pain.
