Vicky passed away this morning while we were queueing to see the vet.  She went away peacefully.  We love you.

This is Noodlez favorite sleeping position without any beddings.  We think she is not even a dog sometimes.

Vicky is having a fever.  She is having problem keeping her balance and threw up over her beddings.  Get well soon, bear bear.

One of those things that happen around.  We know we have bad dress code.  Casual wear in hawker centre is still ok.  But manners…thats another thing.

The current situation is that the world is in a bad shape.  Any person in the world will say so.  Any person in the financial world will say that its even worse than that.  Everyone is saying that there is no end to this.  No one seem to realize that the world is in this shape because the ones who are most involved in it refused to come clean with the actual problem of the whole situation.  Its the things under the carpet being the cause of the problem.  The financial people keep saying its bad while the heads are refusing to just clean everything under the carpet until the rubbish flows over.

In my humble little opinion, the world is in a bad shape.  The world will continue to spiral down as everyone who has the money to help the healing is waiting for even worse to hit the fence.  Well, things will only go up when they hit rock bottom after all.

I was outrage when I read on the news about the ridiculous ruling of a man being fined for sleeping in a park.

I have traveled to many countries and visited many parks.  On several occasion, I found myself dozing off while relaxing in a park.  In London’s Hyde Park, beach chairs are available for people who wanted to just sit their afternoon away in the park despite the crowded conditions.

This rule is definitely archaic and need to be abolished.

There are 2 services that I would like to mention today.

The first is Goh Ah Bee.  Its a local home appliance store that takes any order for home appliance over the phone.  Firstly, it is hard to believe that they will take an order without even asking for a credit card.  Trust is hard to find.  Secondly, they have priced their products below any of those big chains.  My experience with them was over a washing machine.  As I said previously, I thought that my washing machine broke down.  After placing an order, they delivered the new washing machine to my place on the next working day.  As they are removing the old washing machine, they found that my problem did not lie in the machine itself but rather a chokeage in the water outlet.  What surprised me was that they offer to take the new machine back and just charging me $20 for transportation.

The second was William of Kiddy Palace in Toa Payoh.  This guy knows everything there is to know about a baby stroller.  He was doing comparison of different models and explaining the difference in technology of the strollers to us even after we told him which model we wanted to get.  Furthermore, he explained that there is no warranty or exchange allowed after the purchase.  Normally, this will not sound good to me at all.  But coming so sincere a person, it is hard to be upset about it at all.  In any case, he told us that we should check the stroller very carefully to make sure everything is working properly.  After I have inspected the stroller, he offered to check it through for us ‘just to make sure’.  He spent the next 10 minutes looking at every zip, button, connecting joints, and things that we didnt even know existed.  I am impressed.

I have sold my place after 2 years.  Everyone is surprised that I am able to get a buyer for my place and especially without a loss.

Like I said before, the market is getting bad.  But it is not as bad as 1997 Asia financial crisis.  Whatever the amount will be, it will not hit us as unexpectedly and as painfully as 1997 when we are ground zero of the effects.

People need confidence.  People have cash.

The only painful thing now is to due with my homeless status.  I will miss my apartment.  I really like that place.

Everything is going touchscreen now.  Very soon…it will be holographic projection or something.  The article from Associated Press makes the new Blackberry phone – Storm – sounds so cool.

Another one of those singers that I am fascinated with.  I have wanted to get her albums some time ago, but they either are not available or it slip my mind.
